Where are mushrooms most often?
Fungi are alien organisms, and consequently, need a suitable habitat to thrive. It must again be the rich organic compounds that will constitute their food. For this reason, many species grow in forests, in litter near trees, or even on them (parasitic fungi). Sure varieties are also found in meadows — these are also not lacking in the case of the Kłodzko Basin. Where are the mushrooms in the Kłodzko Valley?

- Areas from Szczytna towards Zieleniec — a special microclimate means that mushrooms get everything they need to grow there, and therefore a lot of moisture, and a lot of sun.
- Rudawa — is the place where the Kłodzka Basin actually ends. Mushrooms in that area grow quite clusterly, and there is a possibility of a convenient walk from the Jagodna shelter or the Rudawa Lagoon.
- Around Spalona — Spalona is a small town and at the same time another place in the Kłodzka Valley, where mushrooms are worth going. In the surroundings of the village grow, among other things, real bugs, mushrooms and red boots.
- Forests growing on Mount Jagodna — heading from the Jagodna shelter in the Burnt trail to the top, you can find quite a few beautiful specimens without going deep into the forest. Their dunk is so large that sometimes mushroom pickers come out with baskets full of mushrooms after only a dozen minutes of searching.

There are many national parks and reserves in its area, where collecting anything in the forest is restricted or completely prohibited.
