Polanica-Zdrój — basic information
Polanica-Zdrój is located in Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies between Kłodzko and Dusznikami-Zdrój, constituting one of the most famous Polish spas. The existence of mineral waters there was already known in the 17th century, but it was not until the 19th century that they began to be used for curative purposes. Buildings related to hydrotherapy are today one of the most recognizable symbols of Polanica-Zdrój. These attractions are primarily water drinking rooms, a theater or a spa house. The Spa Park is also impressive.

Mineral Water Pump Room
The building of the Mineral Water Pump Room is located in the eastern part of the Spa Park. Built over 100 years ago in the Art Nouveau and Classical style, it is a real decoration of Polanica-Zdrój. The attractions of this place are mainly 2 mineral springs — Wielka Pieniawa and Staropolanka, which offer water rich in numerous micronutrients. There are also cafes, pastry shops and souvenir shops on site.
Pedestrian street
Visiting Polanica-Zdrój, it is also worth walking through the pedestrian street there. Stretching along Zdrojowa Street along Bystrzyca Dusznicka, it is distinguished by a large number of catering facilities and stalls, where you can buy various types of products.
