The object of interest of many tourists visiting Lower Silesia are points and observation towers. The Kłodzka Basin has a lot to offer, because there are as many as a dozen such facilities on its territory. Lookout points and towers — Kłodzka Valley

The Kłodzko Land is an extremely picturesque region located in the Central Sudetes, which makes it very popular for tourists. And there is no surprise, because they will find everything they need here: mountain trails, bike routes, as well as other attractions — palaces, castles, fortresses, digging or caves. For numerous visitors, an infrastructure has also been created, thanks to which you can admire the breathtaking landscape of this area. It is, of course, about points and observation towers. The Kłodzka Basin, seen from their perspective, looks really beautiful, and it looks even better in the pictures. What are the lookout towers in the Kłodzko Valley?

1. Observation Tower — Jagodna

Jagodna is the highest peak of the Bystrzyckie Mountains and is located at an altitude of 985 m above sea level. It was there that, on the initiative of the project “Czech-Polish ridge trail”, a 23m observation tower with a steel-wooden structure was built. From it you can see the Bystrzyckie Mountains, Orlickie Mountains and the Śnieżnik Massif. Some tourists will certainly be interested in the fact that you can get to the observation tower on Jagodna not only on foot, but also by car.

2. Observation tower — Suszyna

When mentioning the observation towers of the Kłodzko Land, it is also necessary to mention Suszyn. This construction was erected in 2014 as part of Polish-Czech cooperation, which resulted in the project “Places full of views”. It is 27 m high and consists of concrete slabs, and more about it can be read in the article Lookout tower in Suszyn”.

3. Observation tower — Blueberry

As for the observation towers of the Kłodzko Land, the list cannot be omitted from the one located on Borivka — the highest peak of the Golden Mountains. It offers a picturesque view of the Śnieżnik Massif, Orlicke Mountains and Lake Nyskie. The tower is made of steel and rises to 25 m, and below it there is facilities for visitors in the form of a carport and tables. So it is worth organizing a picnic here!

4. Lookout Tower — The Great Owl

What other lookout towers are there? The Kłodzka Basin also has in store an object located on the top of the Owl Mountains, or the Great Owl. The tower, built in 1906, is located at an altitude of 1015 m above sea level and is as much as 25 m. An interesting fact is that to get to it, you have to climb the external stairs, while you go down the internal stairs. From the tower you can see the landscape of the Sudetenland Mountains, the Snezhnik Massif and the Krkonoše Mountains.

5. Lookout Tower — Black Mountain

Some of the observation towers of the Kłodzko Land may seem inconspicuous, but the view that overlooks them suggests something completely different. For example, the one located on the top of the Black Mountain (1205 m above sea level) - is only 14 m high, but the view from it literally takes your breath away. With good conditions, you can see the entire Kłodzko Basin, and even the Śnieżka Peak or the Giant Mountains.

6. Lookout Tower — Trójmorski Wierch

Trimorski Wierch is another worthwhile observation tower of the Kłodzko Land. The map indicates that it is located on the Polish-Czech border, which means that it offers views not only of the Polish but also the Czech side of the mountains. And there is something to admire, because the tower is 25 m high and is located at 1145 m above sea level.

7. Lookout Tower — Kalenica

What else is worth seeing when it comes to observation towers? The Kłodzka Basin is a place where there is no shortage of such objects, but one of the most interesting ones is the structure located on Kalenica — the top of the Owl Mountains (964 m above sea level). To get to the tower, you have to overcome 70 stairs, however, the panorama of the Sudetenland, visible from the upper terrace, definitely compensates for this effort.

8. Viewpoint — Mount Guzowata

Not only towers, but also viewpoints of the Kłodzka Basin has to offer tourists. This combination could not miss the panoramic terrace on Góra Guzowata, from which there is a spectacular landscape of the Stołowe Mountains and Szczeliniec Wielki. The viewpoint is accessible both for motorized visitors, as well as those who move by bike or on foot.
