Kłodzka Basin — lakes and reservoirs worth visiting
1. Lagoon in Radków
First of all, you need to present the reservoir in the Kłodzko Valley, which can boldly be considered one of the most popular. It is about a swimming pool in Radków, a village located near the Czech border. To tell the story of this water body, you have to go back to the 60s, when a dam was built on the Czerwonogora Stream, which led to the creation of an artificial water reservoir. Soon after, the reservoir became a bathing area and a marina, and camping cottages were built around it, which can now be rented by tourists. However, this lake in the Kłodzko Valley offers them much more. Here you can rent floating equipment, including kayaks or pedal bikes, as well as take advantage of a wide gastronomic offer. There is a café, a restaurant and two bars on site. Anglers will also find something for themselves, because the reservoir has been stocked. In addition, relaxing in Radków, you can see a taste of what the Kłodzka Basin has to offer. The lake provides a view of the surrounding forests, mountains and even Szczeliniec Wielki! Lovers of active water entertainment will surely be pleased by the fact that some time ago Ninja Water Park was built here — a huge water park and a splash tower — a giant tower with a 10-meter waterfall, slides and showers of sensations.

2. Gorzuchów Beach
Where over the water? The Kłodzka Basin also has another interesting place in store, namely Gorzuchów beach. This water reservoir was changed from a closed gravel pit into a swimming area in 2016. It quickly became apparent that the newly created facility is of great interest to amateurs of relaxation by the water. Not only residents of Radków and Kłodzko commune come to this artificial lake in the Kłodzko Valley, but also Kłodzko and New Orients. And, of course, tourists, stationed in the surrounding spa towns or renting rooms and apartments in Zieleniec. The undoubted advantage of this swimming pool in the Kłodzko Valley is a convenient parking lot and a path lined with paving stones leading from the parking lot to the beach. In addition, there is a playground and a volleyball court.
3. Lagoon in Stara Morava
As for the water bodies offered by the Kłodzka Basin, lakes are hardly the best term, because the vast majority of them were created artificially. It is enough to take as an example, for example the reservoir in Stara Morawa, located less than 1.5 km from Stroń Śląski. Although in fact it was commissioned already in 2004, it was not until 2006 that a pier, observation tower or fishing piers began to be built there. In 2007, the facility was in full swing — a guarded beach and food outlets were opened. Today, the place enjoys great popularity of locals and tourists, because in summer it is visited by up to several hundred people a day. Interestingly, the water is considered one of the highest located in the whole of Poland, reaching a height of 525 meters above sea level, which makes the Kłodzka Basin perfectly visible from it. A swimming pool with a view of picturesque mountains — this is a reservoir in Stara Morava!
