Where are the Bardzkie Mountains located?
The Bardzkie Mountains stretch from the Silver Pass separating them from the Owl Mountains up to the Kłodzko Przełącz, which not only forms the border with the Golden Mountains, but also closes the Central Sudetes. The range covers an area of about 200 km2, but the watershed of Nysa Kłodzko, divides it into two parts — the Eastern Ridge and the Western Ridge. Despite the undoubted natural values, however, this is not the only asset that the Bardzkie Mountains have in store. Attractions of this place are also numerous palaces, former fortifications, or shrines and churches eagerly visited by pilgrims from all over Poland.

Bardzkie Mountains — trails
The exceptionally gentle profile of the Bardzkie Mountains and trails, which braid them with a fairly dense grid, make this place ideal for hiking or cycling. Among the most frequently conquered peaks, there is no doubt Kłodzka Góra (757 m above sea level). which, although second in height, belongs to the Crown of Polish Mountains. It has only recently been known that when it comes to the Bardzkie Mountains, the highest peak is Szeroka Góra (765 m above sea level). Near it there is a blue trail running from the Kłodzka Pass towards Barda.
By capturing the 10 highest peaks of the Bardzkie Mountains, you can obtain the badge of the Crown of the Bardzkie Mountains. It includes: Kłodzka Góra, Ostra Góra (751 m above sea level), Jelenia Kopa (747 m above sea level), Grodzisko (734 m above sea level), Jedlak (658 m above sea level), All Saints Mountain (648 m above sea level), Wilczak (637 m above sea level), Podzamecka Kopa (615 m above sea level) Bardzka Góra Kalwaria (582 m above sea level) and Extensive (573 m above sea level). However, you need to know that if you plan to conquer the Bardzkie Mountains, hiking trails (blue, yellow, green) may not be enough here - some of the hills are located outside the official PTTK routes.
How much do you enter Kłodzka Gora?
The most convenient route to Kłodzka Gora leads from the Kłodzka Pass and is about 3 km long. It is necessary to reserve just over an hour to overcome it. At the top there is an observation tower with a height of 34.5 m, from which you can see the Bardzkie Mountains very well. Return routes can lead either to Bard or back to the Kłodzka Pass.

Bardo is a city with a rather long and complicated history, which has repeatedly changed its territorial affiliation. There you can admire, among others, the very picturesque breakthrough of Nysa Kłodzko (Bardzko's breakthrough), numerous architectural monuments associated with medieval and modern times, and the Marian shrine, which is famous for its miraculous figure of the Enthroning Madonna.
Kłodzko
Kłodzko is the heart of the Kłodzko Basin, and even for this reason, it is worth visiting by going to the Bardzkie Mountains. A fortress from the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, the charming Old Town with the Renaissance town hall, or numerous attractions for children, such as a miniature park, every year attract crowds of tourists who want to discover the most beautiful monuments of Lower Silesia.
Kamieniec Ząbkowicki
Kamieniec Ząbkowicki is located close enough to the Bardzkie Mountains that it is impossible not to mention it. Among other things, it is famous for its large palace complex from the second half of the 19th century, commonly called the palace of Marianna Oranska. This property is currently undergoing renovation, however it can be visited. Nearby there is a monastery complex of the Cistercian fathers, which was gradually formed between the 14th and 19th centuries. It includes, among others, a church, outbuildings, a granary and outbuildings.
