Do you want to visit Miedzylesie Castle? That's what you need to know!

Although this name has been consolidated for good, Międzylesie Castle is actually a huge palace and castle complex, which consists of, among others, 3 separate wings, an internal courtyard, a castle tower called the Black Tower, a bridge, a gate crossing and former gardens.

The castle in Międzyles was built in the middle of the 14th century, probably on the site of a hillfort located there earlier. However, it was almost completely destroyed during the Hussite Wars and subsequently rebuilt. The new residence was maintained in the Renaissance style, and the remains of medieval fragments were partially incorporated into its body. One of them is the distinctive Black Tower. Another expansion took place in the 17th century. At that time, two more wings — north and east — were added to the previously erected manor house, which were kept in the Baroque style. Despite the passage of several centuries, the shape of the castle in Międzylesie has not changed much and looks similar to a few hundred years ago.
